Beginning XSLT introduces Web developers and people with limited programming experience to the exciting world of “Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations” (XSLT). XSLT is vital to realizing the promise of XML. If you, for example, have an XML document and you want to use the same document to appear both on the Web and in a printed document, you would need to use XSLT to transform the raw XML into the two forms.
