This cutting-edge, first-of-its-kind resource gives you a comprehensive understanding of the simulation and evaluation methods used for today’s mobile communication systems. Written by two highly regarded experts in the field, the book focuses on the performance of both the physical and protocol layer transmission scheme. It defines and presents several invaluable simulation tools written in MATLAB® code, along with clear examples that explain their use.

You get in-depth discussions on digital modulation techniques, including BPSK, QPSK, OQPSK, MSK, GMSK,and QAM by using simulation programs. Moreover, the book also explains the history and configuration of both OFDM and CDMA transmission scheme, discusses multiple access protocols, cellular telecommunication systems, and introduces cutting-edge software radio communication systems. This practical reference is packed with over 240 equations and 160 illustrations.

CD-ROM Included! Contains time-saving Matlab® code which allows users to run simulations without having to write their own programs.

I give seventy five percentage of this book
Dear Writer, First of all I would like to congratulate you for this good and useful book, but i would like to introduce some comments in which i think it will be benefit for the next book. 1- In computer simulation I prefer if you would have used or write the complete syntax command that will match the figures, because if you look at the graphs you will see the complete lines and results without showing the syntax how these results been carried out. 2-In most of the sub-functions there are no mathematical expression in order the reder can understand how these syntax been created. 3-In each figure there are different results (i.e. ofdm for one path and under AWGN, and two paths and other results, but without showing in the program how to put all these results in one figure). I hope these comments will help for next book publication. Good Luck Regards,
