It has less pretty pictures than most ;) , but the content was just what I needed, if not more. Very "practical" book, even for a 1994 edition. I still use it today and know others who value the book as much as I do. It targets users who have had basic experience on the OS, then takes them that step further. Small print, but good detail in an easy to understand manner.
