About the Authors
Mike Volodarsky is a Program Manager on the IIS 7.0 and Web Services Team at
Microsoft. Mike helped design the new IIS 7.0 architecture and administration
capabilities.
Olga M. Londer, MCSE, MCT, is an expert on IIS, Microsoft ASP.NET, and Microsoft
SharePoint® Products and Technologies. She is a Technology Evangelist for
Microsoft and a former Microsoft MVP. She has been involved with Web development,
authoring, and infrastructure since 1992.
Brett Hill is a Technical Evangelist for IIS 7.0 and Web Services at Microsoft
and a contributing editor for Windows® IT Pro. He is also the founder of
iisanswers.com.
Bernard Cheah is active in many online IIS communities, including public and
private Microsoft newsgroups and IIS.net. He coauthored the book CYA Securing
IIS 6.0, contributed to the Microsoft Log Parser Toolkit, and helped to write
several Microsoft Knowledge Base articles and monthly IIS Insider columns. He
currently works for Intel Corporation.
Steve Schofield is a Microsoft IIS MVP and speaker, and has been involved in
the Microsoft community since 1999. His projects include starting ASPFree.com,
being an ASP/ASP.NET MVP, and writing an IIS logging utility called IISLogs.
Carlos Aguilar Mares is a Senior Development Lead on the IIS product group
at Microsoft. His team focuses on building administration tools, remote administration,
and the managed configuration API for IIS 7.0. Previously, Carlos worked on
the ASP.NET 2.0 Page and Controls team.
Kurt Meyer has worked as a programmer as well as a technical editor, writer,
and reviewer in the software industry. He has developed projects ranging from
