Customer Reviews: 3 Average Customer Rating: Aug 3, 2007 roque_manny@hotmail.com from Florida Need more than this book to cover exam material I read this book from beginning to end. I did all the chapter questions including the ones for the sections in each chapter. I had fully mastered the reading material in this book but when I took the practice tests I discovered that alot of the material in the practice tests were not covered in this book. The book is well written and they do recommend to read supplementary material in the Windows XP Resource Kit and online. I did not do any of those recommendations but I watched the multimedia presentations for the book and that did help. I did manage to pass but I was sweating big time during the test because some of the material was foreign to me. I plan to cover this material in the Resource Kit now before continuing onto my MCSA and MCSE. This is a good book but do get the Windows XP Resource Kit and read/watch the online material in fact do everything they recommend in the book. It's alot more material than you're expecting but they recommend it for a reason and that reason is to be knowledgeable which will result in passing the exam.
Oct 25, 2006 Rob from da Big Apple Ditto on Jeremy's review If you pass using this book as you're only study aid/resourse, I tip my hat off to ya! This book doesn't cover everything that could be on the exam but it was interesting reading.
Mar 18, 2005 Jeremy from Oakwood, GA Easy to understand, practice questions are not helpful.. This book is very good for the average reader, problem seems to always be with the practice questions. Nothing they cover was found on the test. I would look for other books to buy, I will shop around for my next series of tests.
