About the Author
Bert Monroy is a pioneer of digital art. A veteran of 20 years in the advertising
industry, Bert is a founding partner of the New York firm Incredible Interactivity,
which began making interactive multimedia presentations as early as 1986 for
such clients as General Motors and American Express. He is a regular guest on
such television programs as "The Screen Savers," "Digital Gurus,"
and "MacTV." His film credits include work for Industrial Light &
Magic, Pacific Data Images, and R/Greenburg Associates.
An accomplished teacher, lecturer, and seminar presenter, Bert has served on
the faculties of The School of Visual Arts (New York), The Center for Creative
Imaging (Maine), The Dynamic Graphics Educational Foundation (Illinois), and
the California College of Arts and Crafts. He currently teaches at San Francisco
State University.
