About the Authors
Felix Nelson is the Senior Art Director of Photoshop User magazine and
is Creative Director for National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).
He's also Art Director of Mac Design magazine and is co-author of the bestselling
"Photoshop Killer Tips" books, and an instructor with the Adobe Photoshop Seminar
Tour. Dave Cross heads up Education and Curriculum for NAPP; as a trainer, he's
taught thousands of users across North America, and is co-author of "Photoshop
7 + Illustrator 10: Create Great Advanced Graphics" and "Photoshop 7 Trade Secrets".
He's featured on instructional DVDs and as a writer in Photoshop User Magazine,
and is a lead instructor for the Photoshop Seminar Tour.
Dave Cross is a consultant and trainer based Ottawa, Canada, and has
his own Photoshop instructional video, released by LearnKey, Inc. A Photoshop
user since version one, Dave drew from his training as a teacher (Bachelor of
Education from McGill University) and started teaching Photoshop in 1990 and
has since taught literally thousands of students. He is Adobe certified in Photoshop
and Illustrator, a Certified Technical Trainer and an Adobe Certified Training
Provider. Dave is also a Charter member of the National Association of Photoshop
Professional (NAPP) and was a speaker at the 2001 Photoshop World conferences
organized by NAPP. He has taught for many organizations, including National
Seminars, Rockhurst University, Dynamic Graphics, and though his own company,
The Dave Cross Group. He has also spoken at numerous conferences and given workshops
across North America.
