Customer Reviews: 2 Average Customer Rating: Aug 31, 2005 Will Fastie from Baltimore, MD The Perfect First Book on PHP This is an outstanding first book for those wanting to gain a basic understanding of PHP. The text is straight-forward with lots of good tips and the examples are useful not only within the book but as code snippets for your app. I have lots of programming experience and just needed a quick leg up on PHP; this book was perfect. It is not a reference but the book also has tips on where to find definitive reference information on the PHP.net site. A huge bang for the buck.
