Customer Reviews
Customer Reviews: 1 Average Customer Rating: Jul 6, 2004 Good overview but not enough depth for the price. If you are just looking for an overview of Microsoft .NET Web Service technologies with a little bit of technical insight then this book is pretty good. However, I think this book is way overpriced for the information it delivers. Some of the other books I have looked at in the .NET Development Series by AW have great in-depth insight and coverage and are worth every penny (e.g., Essential ASP.NET by Fritz Onion). So, if you really want to learn .NET Web Services look some place else but if you just need a good overview and don't mind paying the price (at least BookPool makes it halfway reasonable) then this book is ok.
