Customer Reviews: 3 Average Customer Rating: Jun 20, 2007 Dylan from Portland, OR Pretty Good Book for Network + This book is a great reference guide to networking in general and does a decent job covering the material on the test. I wish Cisco's CCNA1 book was written half as well as this book. However, make sure that you download the Revised Network+ Examination Objectives from Comptia to supplement this book. I was surprised by how many topics on the actual test weren't even addressed in this book. I still passed the test on the first try and you will too if you read this entire book and take the sample tests. My main complaint is that there is a huge amount of information in this book that although is good to know, is not on the test nor is required to pass.
May 7, 2006 Tim from Murfreesboro, TN Great resource for getting your Network+ Not only is this a pretty good book, but it also comes with practice exam software that helps as well. If you buy a discounted voucher through the author's company, you also are given another huge bundle of practice questions to review before taking the exam. I passed the exam first try with only this book and those practice questions.
Jul 2, 2005 Skynet5150 from Jersey City, New Jersey USA Excellent Book Down to earth explanations(too much humor at times), and pretty much covers all objectives. I passed with an 820(also used exam crams, and online resources)
