How to Obtain Price Quotes Including Shipping
To obtain price quotes including shipping, browse and search through our books, and put the books that interest you in the basket. For an accurate shipping cost, make sure to click the Set Your Destination link in the Shopping Basket page, and enter your United States zipcode (for domestic shipments)
or your Country (for international shipments), as well as the address type (commercial
or residential).
Selecting books for price quotes does not obligate you to buy them. The ordering process only begins when you click I'm Ready To Place My Order in the Shopping Basket page.

How to Order
- Search through our books and put the books that interest you in the basket. Set the Shipping Destination in the Shopping Basket page for exact shipping costs to your destination.
- When you are ready to order your selected books, click I'm Ready to Place My Order in the Shopping Basket page.
- If you are a returning customer, enter your email address and password. New customers should enter their email address and a new password,click Create Account, enter shipping address and payment information, and submit it.
- You will now be viewing a page describing your shipping options. Make your selections and submit and confirm your order.
If you are nervous about entering credit card information on the Internet, choose CHECK as your payment option and place your order. You can then send us a fax (508 696 0473) with your name, e-mail, your password, your credit card number and expiration, your CREDIT CARD BILLING ADDRESS (very important - we can't charge without this), and your order confirmation code. We will then enter your payment information on our end.
- Alternatively, you can add the books in the basket to an existing order that has not yet shipped. To do so, click Account in the top right hand corner of the screen, login if you need to, click Modify Outstanding Orders, click on the order code of the order you would like to add books to, and then click on Add Books in Basket to Order....

Shipping Information

In-stock prepaid orders ship within one business day, but typically on business days they ship out on the same day if placed before the following cut-off times (East Coast Time):
- 2:45 PM: US Postal all services
- 3:30 PM: DHL - all service except Global Mail (shipped when minmum 10 pounds met)
- 4:40 PM: Fedex Ground - Commercial & Residential
- 5:00 PM: Fedex Express & International
Note - These times are general guidelines and are dependent on carrier pickups on business days (no weekend service). We routinely supply all services later than these given times - On rare occasions bad weather can effect these ship time estimates. CONTACT US IF YOU NEED SERVICE THAT EXCEEDS THESE GUIDELINES.
Some orders may be held longer for credit card verification procedures. Non-credit card in-stock orders are shipped as soon as the payment reaches us and clears.
Bookpool LLC does not charge for handling and does not profit on shipping costs.
Use a commercial shipping address if possible, shippers find it cheaper to deliver to commercial addresses and generally charge less for shipments to commercial addresses.
Note that the shipping services deliver on business days, and delivery times are calculated in terms of number of business days. For example, a Fedex 1 Day Residential order shipped on Friday will be delivered
on Monday (assuming Monday is not a holiday). Fedex Home (a ground service, NOT the Fedex Residential air service) is the one exception, delivering Tuesday through Saturday, so a Fedex Home 1 Day order shipped on Friday will deliver on Saturday, and a Fedex Home 2 Day order shipped on Friday will deliver on Tuesday.
Bookpool LLC supports the following shipping methods within the US:
- FedEx Commercial:
Air shipping to commercial addresses, delivery times vary from 1 to 3 business days. Trackable via www.fedex.com and 800-463-3339.
- FedEx Residential:
Air shipping to residential addresses, delivery times vary from 1 to 2 business days. Trackable via www.fedex.com and 800-463-3339. Shipping to a commercial address costs less, so use a commercial address if possible.
- FedEx Ground:
Ships to commercial addresses, delivery times vary from 1 to 6 business days. Trackable via www.fedex.com and 800-463-3339.
- FedEx Home:
Ships to residential addresses, delivery times vary from 1 to 6 delivery days. Delivery days are Tuesday through Saturday (9AM to 8PM), unlike most services that deliver Monday through Friday. Trackable via www.fedex.com and 800-463-3339.
Shipping to a commercial address costs less, so use a commercial address if possible.
- US Postal Priority Mail:
3 to 5 business days to lower 48 continental states, significantly longer
for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APOs, FPOs, US territories.
- US Postal Media Mail:
10 to 15 business days to lower 48 continental states, significantly longer
for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APOs, FPOs, US territories.
Bookpool LLC supports the following international shipping methods:
- DHL WorldWide Express:
Fast, reliable, and insured, each DHL package is trackable via www.dhl.com and
normally has a delivery time of 3 business days, although some countries require a week
due to slow customs processing.
- Federal Express International Priority:
Fast, reliable, and insured, each FedEx package is trackable via www.fedex.com and normally has
a delivery time of 3 business days, although some countries require a week due to slow
customs processing.
- DHL GlobalMail:
Packages are flown to the destination country and inserted into the local postal system
as air printed matter. Packages typically arrive within 10 to 25 business days, but can
take longer to some countries. Often economical for smaller orders, but not trackable.
Please note that all customs charges and fees, if any, are the responsibility of the recipient. A call to your customs office should clarify the issue.

Out-of-Stock Books
We keep most current titles in stock (Availability: In-Stock), which means they are in our warehouse ready to be shipped. If a title is not in our warehouse (Availability: Out-of-stock), you can still order it, and we can ship the book as soon as copies arrive in our warehouse (usually 4-6 business days). You can also order not-yet-published titles (Availability: Not-yet-Published), we can ship them to you as soon as the publisher publishes the book and sends copies to our warehouse.

Returns / Guarantee
We guarantee satisfaction on our books. Books may be returned in original condition (no software seals broken) within 30 days of receipt of your shipment, after requesting a return authorization code from bookpool@bookpool.com.
Once we receive the book in original resalable condition (no software seals broken), we will refund the book purchase price to your credit card, excluding shipping costs. If your order was paid for via check, you will receive credit to your Bookpool account.

Tracking Your Orders Online
You will receive an e-mail notifying you that your order has shipped. DHL and FedEx shipments can be tracked online. Your shipped-out notification will include a tracking number with which you can follow your package from our warehouse until it reaches your door at
http://www.fedex.com, or
http://www.dhl.com.

Special Requests
If you would like to purchase a book from Bookpool LLC that we do not list, please send e-mail to bookpool@bookpool.com, giving the book title, author, publisher, and ISBN (all four must be provided, access the US Library of Congress or another source to obtain all four).

Bookpool performs customer service exclusively via email (bookpool@bookpool.com), please
direct all inquiries to this address, and please include for faster service your email
address, customer number, and/or order code, as appropriate. Customer service is performed during normal business
hours Monday to Friday, East Coast Time, please do not expect a reply outside of these
hours. We work hard to respond to customer service queries within 1 business day.
We welcome your comments, suggestions, ideas, and requests for service. Bookpool LLC does not support the overhead of telephone operations, which allows us to offer the discounts we do.

Sales Tax
A 5% sales tax is added to all orders delivered in the state of Massachusetts.

Forms of Payment
We accept Discover/MasterCard/Visa/JCB/Carte Blanche/Diners Club/AMEX
credit card orders and pre-payment by check, money order, and
electronic fund transfer. Payments must be in US dollars
and checks and money orders must be drawn from a financial organization
that has branches in the US. Electronic fund transfers must include
an additional USD $25 to cover transfer fees, please contact
bookpool@bookpool.com after placing your order to arrange the details.
In-stock orders paid for by check, money order, and electronic fund
transfer will be shipped once the payment arrives and clears.
Credit card orders are charged once they enter the shipping process.

Invoice Options
Don't display prices: When placing your order, you may select to have no pricing information (product cost, subtotal, sales tax, freight, and total cost) displayed on the invoice that is enclosed in the order package. This is useful when sending products as a gift or when sending products to a client. This option is only offered for orders shipped within the United States, orders shipped outside the United States must have full pricing information for customs purposes. Note that you can always obtain an invoice with pricing information by viewing your Pro Forma Invoice online.
Invoice Comment: When placing your order, you may include a comment that will be displayed on the invoice enclosed in the order package. For example, for gifts you might want to write "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Birthday", and for business you may want to include a PO number or other internal business tracking information.

Security
For your security and convenience, the Bookpool WWW site supports SSL, which allows you to submit confidential information securely and
conveniently. Furthermore, any change to your Bookpool account shipping address requires that
the credit card information be re-entered to verify your identity, and
sends an e-mail to you notifying you of the change.
If you do not feel comfortable submitting your information via the
Internet, you can FAX (508-696-0473) the information. Please include
all of the following information: a new password, name, e-mail, shipping address, form of payment, and if paying via credit card, your
card number / expiration date and credit card billing address.

You can search for a book by title word(s), author, or ISBN number:

appears on the menu bar at the bottom of every page.

To login to your Bookpool account, click the Account menu option
and enter your e-mail address and password. If you have forgotten
your password, click the Forgot your Password? link in the login page.

How to Add a Book to an Order
- Search through our books, placing the book(s) that you would like to add to your order in the basket.
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click Modify Unshipped Orders. You then see a list of all orders that you have placed with Bookpool LLC
- Click on the order code of the order that you wish to modify.
NOTE: Books
can no longer be added if the order has a status of In Process of Shipping, Processing Credit Card, Preparing for Shipping, Order On Hold, or Shipped.
- Click Add near the book listing. You will then see a report of the updated order.
- Click Add Books (Final Step)

How to Remove Books from an Order
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click Modify Unshipped Orders. You will then see a list of all orders that you have placed with Bookpool LLC
- Click on the order code of the order that you wish to modify.
NOTE: Books
can no longer be removed if the order has a status of In Process of Shipping, Processing Credit Card, Preparing for Shipping, Order On Hold, or Shipped.
- Click Remove near the book listing.
- Enter the amount of books that you would like to remove from your order and click CONTINUE.... You will then see a report of the updated order.
- Click Remove the Books (Final Step).

How to Change an Order's Shipping Method
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click Modify Unshipped Orders. You will then see a list of all orders that you have placed with Bookpool LLC
- Click on the order code of the order that you wish to modify.
NOTE: The shipping method
can no longer be changed if the order has a status of In Process of Shipping, Processing Credit Card, Preparing for Shipping, Order On Hold, or Shipped.
- Click Edit near the shipping method. You will then see a list of all possible shipping methods to your destination.
- Click the radio button next to the shipping method of your choice, and click Modify Shipping (Final Step).

How to Cancel an Order
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click Modify Unshipped Orders. You will then see a list of all orders that you have placed with Bookpool LLC
- Click on the order code of the order that you wish to cancel.
NOTE: The order
can no longer be canceled if it has a status of In Process of Shipping, Processing Credit Card, Preparing for Shipping, Order On Hold, or Shipped.
- Select Cancel Order from the operations menu. You will then see a report of the order that is about to be cancelled.
- Click Cancel Order (Final Step).

How to Change An Order's Shipping Address
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click Modify Unshipped Orders. You will see a list of all orders that you have placed with Bookpool LLC
- Click on the order code of the order that you wish to modify.
NOTE: The shipping address
can no longer be changed if the order has a status of In Process of Shipping, Processing Credit Card, Preparing for Shipping, Order On Hold, or Shipped.
- Click Edit near the shipping address. Enter the address to where you want the order shipped. If you are paying by credit card, you will need to re-enter your credit card information.
- Click Update Order (Final Step)
Please note: The changes that you made will only be effective for that one specific order. To modify the information for future orders, see How to Change Your Account Shipping or Payment Information

How to Change An Order's Payment Method

- Click on the order code of the order that you wish to modify.

- Click Edit near the payment options. Enter your payment information that you would like to use for this order.
- Click Update Order (Final Step)

How to View Orders That You Have Placed
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click Display All Orders in the list of possible operations, or alternatively Your Orders on the menu bar. You will see a list of all orders that you have placed with Bookpool LLC. To view order details, click on the order code of the order that you wish to see.

How to Obtain a Pro Forma Invoice
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Select View All Orders. You will receive a list of all orders that you have placed with Bookpool LLC
- Click on the order code of the order for which you would like to obtain a pro forma invoice.
- Click Pro Forma Invoice. You will then see a pro forma invoice that you can print out.

How to Modify Your Account Shipping Address, Phone, and Payment Method
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click on Modify Address & Payment Info. Modify the account information that you would like to change. For your security, if you are paying by credit card, no change can be made without entering your credit card information again.
- Click Update Account.
Please note: The changes that you have made will only affect future orders. To modify the information on outstanding orders, see How to Change Shipping or Billing Information for a Specific Order That Has Not Yet Shipped

How to Change Your Email Address
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click on Change Your Email. Enter your password and your new email address.
- Click Change Email.

How to Change Your Password
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click on Change Your Password. Enter your current password and your new password (twice).
- Click Change Password.

How to Manage Your Subscription
You can modify your subscription to the Bookpool Special Offers mailings
either via the front page or from within your account. Both methods now access
the same information, so either method is sufficient.
To Modify your Subscription within Your Account:
- If you are not already in your Bookpool account, select Account from the menu bar and enter your email address and password.
- Click on Manage Your Subscription. Select the options you prefer.
- Click Change Subscription.
To Modify your Subscription via the Bookpool front page:
- Click the Bookpool Logo to return to the Bookpool front page.
- Scroll down until you see the Subscription widget in the left hand column. Click Manage Subscription.
- Enter your email address. Click CONTINUE....
- Select the options you prefer..
- Click Change Subscription.
