Understanding to make you a better developer
Keith is SO good at explaining things in a clear and logical and congenial way. I selected this book on the subject because he wrote it. In particular I found the items in the Network Security section valuable, for learning about the newest Microsoft Kerberos extensions and their signifance to multi-tier applications. While this information isn't all specific to .NET, it is presented with the perspective of a .NET developer, using examples and recommending what you really ought to be thinking about. The understanding you get can help you communicate more effectively with your System Administrators too, to get the support you might need.
